William Rory Gallagher was an Irish blues and rock guitarist. Singer, composer, and producer who lived from March 2, 1948, to June 14, 1995. Gallagher formed “The Taste,” which later renamed simply “Taste.” A blues rock and R&B power trio, in 1966 after completing a musical apprenticeship in showbands and being influenced by the increasing popularity of beat groups throughout the early 1960s.
