Real name is Hans Lundgren (born 3 November 1957), is a Swedish actor, martial artist, and director. His big break came in 1985 when he played the intimidating Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. Earning a chemical engineering degree from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In the early 1980s and a master’s in the field from the University of Sydney in 1982. The European champion in 1980–81 and currently has the rank of 4th dan black belt in Kyokushin karate. He started dating Jamaican singer Grace Jones while he was living in Sydney and worked as her bodyguard. After a brief stint as a model and bouncer at the Manhattan nightclub The Limelight, Jones persuaded him to leave the university and move to New York City so that he could be with her and start acting.
