Peter Cushing a renowned British actor who had a long and successful career in film and television. Known for his roles in horror films, such as Hammer Films’ Dracula and Frankenstein series. However, he also had a notable role in the Star Wars franchise, playing the iconic villain Grand Moff Tarkin.

Additionally, Cushing, born in Surrey, England in 1913. Beginning his acting career in the theatre in the early 1930s. He made his film debut in 1939 with a small role in the comedy film The Man in the Iron Mask. Also, went on to appear in a number of films throughout the 1940s and 1950s, but it was not until the 1960s that he achieved his greatest success.

Nevertheless, In 1957, Cushing starred in the Hammer Films production of The Curse of Frankenstein. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it launched Cushing’s career as a horror film star. He went on to star in a number of other successful horror films for Hammer Films, including Dracula (1958), The Mummy (1959), and The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959).
